Workspaces
This is a help article that explain 'workspaces' to you.

Workspaces are essentially instances of our application. They are private spaces specifically for you, you team, your group, your company. Up until now we thought about individual users who owned specific trips. Now, those trips and users are further surrounded by a workspace. You can think of it as being very similar to the the workspace concept in Slack.

What's in a workspace?

For now, the concept of a workspace is very basic. As an administrator, you can do the following:

  • Pick a name - It can be whatever you want
  • Choose an icon - Just make sure it's not too big
  • Manage Users - You can add, remove and change roles of users within the workspace

What's coming?

The idea is that as we build company specific things like integrations, reporting, security, features, etc. - we needed a place to configure and point those things. That's what the workspace will be. One of the first things we will release is the notion of 'connected calendars' for Calendar Sync where individual users can authenticate their calendars and have invites come from them rather than the generic Finch Organiser.

What are the subscription plans?

With the rollout of workspaces, we are introducing paid subscription plans. These packages will change over time, but in general we are going to set limits on usage per tier, include certain features only in the higher tiers, and only unlock certain integrations when paid for as well. For the latest info on subscriptions and what's included, check out our website at www.finch.travel.
