About your profile & preferences

Your Account settings can be found in the bottom left avatar that is either your picture from gmail or the initials of your name. In your account settings there are two sub-sections: Profile and Preferences.

 

Under your Profile you really only have the ability to add your phone number. Eventually, we want to connect that to WhatsApp / Text messaging. Additionally, you’ll notice that your email address is not editable. This is on purpose, as it’s your login ID.

 

You can however 'link accounts' by adding an email address in the Linked Accounts section and going through the confirmation workflow process. Note: Make sure you LOGOUT of your session when you click on the confirmation email if you are using one device for both email addresses, otherwise it will give you an error.

 

The other area under your Account are the Preferences. Here, you can choose one or more of your preferred travel partners, from airlines to lodging and more. You can even chose the corporate travel management system that you use. If you choose any of these, they will default if/when you go to book in the Bookings modal. Essentially we will just redirect you to your preferred partners to book flights, lodging, rental cars, trains, etc. We’re just trying to understand if this is useful to you. If so, we can start to carry data from your Trip Plan into the search on your preferred travel partner to make your life easier.

 

Over time there will be a lot more configurations that we bring to your account, like notifications and integrations. Enjoy!
