Travel bookings

When it comes to travel bookings, we are not trying to be the place where you make all of your bookings, but rather the place where you store them. Within the Bookings menu in the left hand navigation, you will see a modal to book various things - flights, hotels, etc. This pulls up a drop-down of URLs that will redirect you to your preferred site. You can set these in your Preferences on your Profile if you like.

 

In general, you should forward all of your confirmation emails to [email protected] and we will do the rest. We automatically assign that booking to a trip (if one exists in the date range). We then render a 'synthetic block' in your plan to represent the details of that booking. If we can't find a trip with the right date range, we create one and tell you about it in an email confirmation. And if we got it wrong, just click 'Add to trip' to the right of the booking and pick the appropriate trip from the list.

 

Note: if you have Linked Accounts, we automatically copy the booking over all of your accounts. So if you book a flight under your personal email and forward, but it's a hotel for a work trip. No problem, go under your work login and associate it to your work trip.
